五鼎生物技術股份有限公司於中華民國86年12月設立於新竹科學園區，公司主要產品為利用專利生物感應技術所研發出之檢測儀器和檢測試片，且於民國89年6月正式掛牌上櫃，並於翌年(民國90年)9月成功轉上市(代號1733)。

　　本公司成立目標為發展成全方位的生物科技公司，並積極從事研究、開發、生產、製造、銷售生物技術相關產品。目前已利用自行研發之先進生物感測技術（Biosensor）成功開發出掌上型血糖測試系統、自我檢測尿酸測試系統、和多功能小型血糖尿酸測試儀。

　　產品系列皆已通過ISO、FDA、和歐盟品質規範並與跨國藥廠集團簽定長期產品共同推廣合作契約。未來發展方向將包括致力開發小型及操作簡便之居家自我檢測儀器，讓每一個人能充分的享受健康和快樂的生活。
