牽牛（ 學名：Ipomoea nil (Linnaeus) Roth），旋花科牽牛屬，別名為牽牛花、喇叭花、筋角拉子。 分佈於熱帶和亞熱帶地區。春天播種，夏秋開花，一年生纏繞草本。植物的花酷似喇叭狀，其品種很多，花的顏色有藍、緋紅、桃紅、紫等，亦有混色的，花瓣邊緣的變化較多，是常見的觀賞植物。葉寬卵形或近圓形，深或淺的3裂，偶5裂，長4-15釐米，寬4.5-14釐米，基部圓，心形，中裂片長圓形或卵圓形，漸尖或驟尖，側裂片較短，三角形，裂口銳或圓，葉面或疏或密被微硬的柔毛；葉柄長2-15釐米，毛被同莖。 除栽培供觀賞外，種子為常用中藥，名丑牛子（雲南）、黑醜、白醜、二醜（黑、白種子混合），入藥多用黑醜，白醜較少用。有瀉水利尿，逐痰，殺蟲的功效。
