英語的日期有哪幾種寫法？

英文日期分英式和美式,如下:

1) 8th March,2004 或8 March,2004（英式）

2) March 8th,2004 或March 8,2004 （美式）

日期寫法宜遵從下列規則：

1)年份必須完全寫明，不可用"04代替2004;

2)月份必須用英文拼出或採用公認的簡寫，即 January (Jan.),February (Feb.),March(Mar.),April(Apr.),May,June,July,August (Aug.),September

(Sept.),October(Oct.),November(Nov.),December(Dec.);

3)日期可用序憨詞，如：1st,2nd,3rd,4th,...；也可用基數詞，如：1，2，3，4，...。但美式大多采用後者；

4)在年份和月日之間必須用逗號隔開；

5)日期不可全部採用如7.12.2003或7/12/2003的阿拉伯數字書寫，否則會引起誤解。因為英美在這方面的習慣用法不同。按美國人習慣，上述日期為2003年7月12日，而按英國習慣則是2003年12月7日

如果所表述的時間在半小時之內,可以用“（相差的）分鐘 + to + （下一）小時”：10:35 twenty-five to eleven

5:50 ten to six

9:49 eleven to ten

如果所表述的時間恰好為半小時,可以用“half + past + 小時”：

11:30 half past eleven

2:30 half past two

如果所表述的分鐘和15有關,就有三種表達法：

（15分鐘又叫一刻鐘：a quarter）

9:15 - nine fifteen ; fifteen past nine ; a quarter past nine

3:45 - three forty-five ; fifteen to four ; a quarter to four

英文日期的格式

英語中日期有兩種寫法：

一種是按月、日、年的順序排列，

另一種是按日、月、年的順序排列。

牢記將年份放在最後，其前用逗號與月、日隔開。

以2001年3月21日為例，有如下兩張表達方式：

a. 把月份寫在日期前面，這通常是美國寫法。即：March 21st, 2001，讀作March the twenty-first, two thousand and one。

b. 先寫日子，再寫月份和年，這通常是英國寫法。即：21st March, 2001，讀作the twenty-first of March, two thousand and one。

此外，非正式情況下，月份也可簡寫為阿拉伯數字。
