鸚鵡

鸚鵡（拉丁學名：Psittaciformes，別名：鸚哥），鳥綱鸚形目動物，分佈在溫、亞熱、熱帶的廣大地域，主要分佈於熱帶森林中。鸚鵡種類非常繁多，有2科、82屬、358種，是鳥綱最大的科之一。 鸚鵡對趾型足，兩趾向前兩趾向後，鳥喙強勁有力。羽色鮮豔，常被作為寵物飼養。它們以其美麗的羽毛，善學人語的特點，為人們所欣賞和鍾愛。大多數鸚鵡主食樹上或者地面上的植物果實、種子、堅果、漿果、嫩芽嫩枝等，兼食少量昆蟲；吸蜜鸚鵡類則主食花粉、花蜜及柔軟多汁的果實。
