　　多讀音作duō（ㄉㄨㄛ），多姓，郡望為丹陽郡，在姓氏人數中排名第920名。其姓出處有多種說法，始於商代，有人名多父鼎，在漢代有多軍，宋代有大將軍多嶽，《鏡花緣》中有人名多九宮。清代有兩江總督為多氏。現多姓集中分佈於河北阜城縣建橋鎮建東、建北、建陽及東多、西多、東高莊、趙門、祁樓鄉多城頭等村，在河北霸州、河南清豐、淅川等縣亦有大量多姓人氏。阜城多姓來歷：原籍陝西省渭南縣，1409年（明成祖永樂七年），始祖多貴妣王氏率四子遷河間府阜城縣建橋屯三甲籍，長門多勉，四子多榮，二、三子失諱。
