闌尾

闌尾（vermiform appendix）是一個單一開口的管狀器官，在腹部的右下方，位於盲腸與迴腸之間，是細長而彎曲的盲管，遠端閉鎖。闌尾走形變化較複雜，分為闌尾根部、近側部分、遠側部分。人類闌尾的平均長度為11cm，但範圍從2cm至20cm都有。
