免稅店指經海關總署批准，由經營單位在中華人民共和國國務院或其授權部門批准的地點設立符合海關監管要求的銷售場所和存放免稅品的監管倉庫，向規定的物件銷售、供應免稅品的商店。我國境內的免稅店主要有口岸免稅店、運輸工具免稅店、市內免稅店、外交人員免稅店、供船免稅店及我國出國人員外匯免稅商店。 2017年12月1日，《公共服務領域英文譯寫規範》正式實施，規定免稅店標準英文名為Duty-Free Store。
