學生分析:七年級的學生生性活潑好動,學生有一定的分化,但也不是全部都沒基礎。針對學生現狀,在課堂上儘量以鼓勵表揚為主,營造氛圍,鼓勵學生開口說英語。

教材分析:本課是初一新教材第5單元的第一部分,教材內容圍繞著描述人現在的活動展開,讓學生學會談論人人們正在幹什麼。本課的教學內容與學生的實際生活密切相關,易於引發學生運用簡單的英語進行交際和交流。

教材目標

1、知識目標: What are you doing? I am watching. What is he doing? He is doing homework.

2、能力目標: 幫助學生了解語言規律,熟知語法規則,並學習交流。

3、情感目標: 學生能通過交換對不同人物活動的描述,促進學生之間和師生之間的情感交流,增進情誼。

教學重點

1、掌握並運用描述人物活動的詞彙:watching, doing, eating cleaning, reading, talking

2、掌握並運用簡單的英語交際句型:What is he doing? He is doing homework.

教學難點

現在進行時的用法和動詞V-ing 形式的構成。

教學策略

由淺入深,設置場景、對話以及表演來教授新句型。

教學過程

Step1. Warming– up (5mins)

T:Good morning, boys and girls. How are you?

Ss : Fine,thank you.

T: OK, who’s on duty today?

(Ss make a report)

T:Before our lesson, I have a song for you .(Santa Clause is coming to the town) Let’s enjoy it.

T:Do you like it.Let’s have a look at the words of the song.

大家注意這裡面的紅色單詞,有沒有發現這些單詞都帶著一條尾巴,例如這個coming的原型就是come,而…的原型是…,這就是我們今天要認識和學習的新知識。

Step 2. Presentation(40mins)

We are goingto learn a new lesson--Unit5 .Now let’s look at the title:I’m watching TV.當我們要談論現在在做什麼時,就要用現在進行時,它的結構式是Be+Verb-ing,你可以這樣提問,What are you doing?What is he doing……而我們則回答……

A. Match the words with the activities.(15mins)

T:Now,the whole class please turn to page 25.Match the words with the activities.我們先看看這左邊的六個詞組。Let’s read together……

那他們是什麼意思呢?我們知道do homework是做作業而當它加上ing 後就是正在做作業的意思.Follow me,doing homework.那麼搭配的是右邊的d圖。

Second one,watching TV 正在看電視,那麼是右邊的哪一幅圖。

接下來以相同的形式教授。

(Help Ss answer the question with body language ,and write down the verds.Finish 1a)

T:Good job.Follow me.doing doing watching watching……

Well done.現在大家練習一下,用這六個詞組,舉個例子What is he doing? He is reading.Ok,who want to try……

Now listen tothe tape,and finish 1b. Ok,very good.I see you have known the answer,大家都做好了。Let’s check……

對於現在進行時,還有幾點需要大家注意。

B. Teach the Present Progressive.(8mins)

1.主語+be +doing,表“正在……”

Eg. I’m preparingforthe trip. (我正在準備旅行.)

The birds are flying in the sky.

2.主語+be+going/coming/arriving…,表將要發生的動作.

Eg. I’m going to the moon.(我即將要上月球.)

3.主語+be+always/all the time…,表經常發生的動作,帶有感情色彩.

Eg. Oh, dear,you are always dreaming.

(噢,寶貝,你怎麼經常做夢的.)

He is always singing loudly.

(他經常唱的很大聲.)

C. Activities.(3mins)

Ask and answer questions about what people are doing in the picture.

T:Here I’d like to show you more pictures.Look, What are they doing?

Ss:They are playing Game.它們正在玩遊戲 ……

D.Pair work.(14mins)

T:Terrific!Now,pair work.

Look at me,and guess what am I doing?

You should begin the conversatian,like

S1:What are you doing? Are you opening the door.

S2:Yes.I’m opening the door/No.I’m closing the door.

Ask Ss to play this in pair and ask student to have a try.

8. Do the exercises.

Give Ss some exercises, and ask the Ss to do at once.
